“Yorta Yorta Dreaming“
“This amazing painting represents my Mother and her 11 children of the Yorta Yorta people of Mooroopna Victoria. We represent the Long Neck Turtle which is our Dreaming and Totem. Our Spiritual belief is when we leave this Earth we will return as our Spiritual Totem. I wanted to paint something unique that represents my beautiful Mother with honour so I painted my family.
I painted us all with her in the Dreaming – swimming happily together again, Yorta Yorta Dreaming”
