Pricilla lives between Adelaide and Alice Springs with her family
and is an emerging professional artist
This beautifully detailed painting is an arial representation,
a bird’s eye view, of Pricilla’s country. The campsites (circles) are spaced at each direction with paths along dry river beds to a central meeting place, the U shapes are people. We see kangaroo tracks (the “arrows”) going across the dry land of red sand, rock and low scrub. Aboriginal men hunt the kangaroo by following its tracks, and bring tucker back to the campfires.
