Damien was taught how to paint the Dreamtime stories by highly acclaimed artists Clifford Possum, Billy Stockman and Uta Uta. He is now a respected Papunya Tula artist in his own right and is married to talented artist Yilpi Marks Atira.
Damien and Yilpi have painted an aerial view of their homelands: We can see four people are sitting around camp, snug in a sandhill which makes a wind break. They have traveled along a river and past caves.
