“I lay awake in the city, thoughts consume my mind.
Wishing I was back on my home land in another space and time.
Stars by the million dot the Central Australian sky
like a blanket they comfort my dreaming and imaginative mind.
Pictures and visions and special things are seen in places
where few men have seen.
I painted this out of memory, out of my imagination and image of the special country in both day and night.
