"Currently, I’m best known internationally as ‘The Sand Mandala Lady of Brighton Beach’. This ‘title’ was bestowed on me as I regularly carve 12meter, intricate mandalas in the sand at Brighton. Last year I received an Australia Day award for the joyful and meditative effect my sand mandalas have had on the local and wider communities.
Creating through art is my passion. It’s not something I’ve studied, it’s something I feel within and have loved exploring and expressing since childhood.
I’ve created many forms of art through my life from graphic design, illustrating, sculpting and cartooning, to creating fine art works in charcoal, watercolour, acrylic and oils.
My latest collection is titled ‘Beach Meditation’. It depicts the changing array of lines, colour and feelings that I experience
when I sit and connect with the beach. I hope you enjoy my expressions."
