Peter Westerhoff started painting at the Julian Ashton School of Art in Sydney as a young man. After a forty year break, Peter took up painting again in Tasmania. He had a short time with Larry Bellbin – an abstract artist based in Tasmania, before joining the Arts Society there and holding a successful joint exhibition where his work was commended. Peter is a traditional artists who paints in acrylics capturing the mood and colours of nature.
