Cherolyn Gibson Nampijinpa Born 1992 Community: Laramba The Laramba is a remote community, located 205km north west of Alice Springs. It takes 2.5 hours to drive there from Alice Springs. Access to the community is by the Napperby station road, which runs west from the Stuart Highway, 122 kms north of Alice Springs. The community is located 83 km from the turnoff on a dirt road THE BOOMERANG: Cheryl carved this boomerang herself, from reclaimed mulga she found “out bush” She has painted about “Bush Medicines & Bush Seeds” on one side, and signed on the back It was created by Cherolyn on the Laramba Community, Northern Territory |
